Matthew 7:7, Psalm 56:3 and Isaiah 41:10

I found a nice, hidden spot at a nearby park today. In fact, it was so nice that I left three tags at this park! The first two were in this area where a leaning tree has formed a sort of hideout. I can tell I'm not the first person to find this spot, because the dirt underneath has been sifted and trampled a bit. (Forgive the underexposed photos; since this was a last-minute tag, I only had my camera phone!)

I left a bright yellow and white crochet piece on a branch with a tag quoting Matthew 7:7 - "Seek and you will find."

Very close to the yellow and white piece, I attached a blue and pink snuggie tagged with Psalm 56:3 - "I will trust in you."

After watching my son play on the nearby playground and enjoying the sunshine, I decided to leave one more tag in a separate area. It quotes Isaiah 41:10 - "Do not fear." This one was made with a Doodle Loom and a skein of variegated yarn.

I haven't tagged in so long that I've forgotten how much fun it is!

Isaiah 40:29 & Romans 13:10

The winter months were too cold for me to do any tagging, besides the Christmas surprise for my neighbors. I've been slowly working on some tags indoors, and got my first chance to place two of them today.

I placed them both on trees at my favorite building. (Yes, my church!) Please forgive the photo quality. I left my DSLR at home and only had my camera phone.

The blue one is labeled with Romans 13:10: "Love does no harm to a neighbor."

The brown one is labeled with Isaiah 40:29: "He gives strength to the weary."

Can you see it on the tree? Here's a closer photo.

Guess What I Found?

Leftovers, Etc. is one of my most favorite stores in town. On a recent shopping trip, I hit the crochet jackpot! I found pieces already crocheted, so I bought a bag full of them. I have plans to make a scarf out of them (to give to my friend who helps the homeless), and use some of the other pieces in my Crosschet tags.
